How many of you can relate? While funny as hell, it simply shouldn't be the case. This is why ETF exists, to help those who wish to help themselves. Improving and maintaining your fitness is essential in our eyes for a healthy, capable, and fulfilling life.
Elevated fitness can help prevent and/or improve a myriad of conditions, such as:
Stress, Depression, and Anxiety
Hypertension
Weight Management
Diabetes
Risk of Stroke
Muscular Atrophy
Heart Disease
Insomnia
High Triglyceride Levels
Hypothyroidism
Hyperglycemia
Early Onset Osteoporosis/Osteoarthritis
Cognitive Fatigue
Shall I continue?....
What if there was a solution to prevent, slow down, and/or even cure these conditions? Well, there's good news. Prioritizing your fitness to be part of your routine can be your solution or at least a significant asset to your health. There is no magic pill, there is no instant fix. Just like brushing your teeth, fitness goals require effective methods, consistency, and time. This is where many will mentally check out. Hard, work, and time are becoming the new 'Four Letter Words' in modern vocabulary. With so many promises of quick, convenient fixes to all sorts of problems, our society is losing sight of the value in each of these qualities. 'Nothing worth having comes easy', 'There's no such thing as a free lunch', and 'The best things take time' are mantras that stand true and should not be forgotten.
Our culture is now so quick to turn to pills and surgeries as perfect solutions. To be clear, ETF is not in any way against medications. ETF is against using meds, supplements, surgeries, etc. to try and cover up more fundamental issues that can be improved. These other means are all valid when used in CONJUNCTION WITH, not IN PLACE OF better nutrition habits, hard work, and bit of discipline [now introducing the category of 'Ten Letter Words'].
The fact of the matter is that, in this day and age, we are now asked to move less and stress more. This is the perfect combination for a collective increase of all kinds of health issues. Ever since the beginning of mankind humans were meant to move and exert ourselves, and regularly. As we've grown and advanced as a society, we no longer need to use our bodies in the same capacity in order to survive. Now, most of us are forced to self impose this physical work and labor in order to compensate for our convenient and comfortable lifestyles. We can call this unfair, but to quote the late great Bruce Hornsby, "That's just the way it is." So, for some of you, this is not only a wake up call but a call to action. Get moving, set a goal, and consistently work to reach it. Take those first steps to improve your health, not just mask, hack, or ignore it. This can only be done for so long before the true state of one's health comes to light. For some it happens sooner than later. Be proactive and don't let it be you.
The last statement certainly does not apply everyone who may not regularly exercise. A lot of folks do in fact know the benefits of regular exercise, but they feel it's too expensive to hire a coach, think it's too time consuming, or simply don't know where to start. ETF appreciates the over inflated prices of many trainers, unrealistic standards of time in the gym, and the hot mess of contradicting misinformation throughout the internet. ETF has worked hard to provide different solutions to help address all of these concerns, so they can't be used as a deterrent keeping you from improving your health. We aim to be a beacon of light that helps improves fitness for all that seek it, regardless of the goal. So much in fact, we offer free programs to help get you started. If you need a more specialized approach, our Online Coaching and Custom Program services are also in place to help folks work towards their specific goals, with the resources at their disposal.
