ETF PERFORMANCE TRAINING

ETF is a Veteran owned fitness coaching platform, that exists to help those who wish to help themselves. Molded with a military mindset, we believe fitness is a fundamental aspect of a healthy and fulfilling life. We offer a variety of services depending on goals, interests, resources, commitment, and availability. Many embrace fitness in their lives for a myriad of reasons. ETF believes fitness is necessary for maximizing and optimizing our capabilities, mindset, and overall preparedness for whatever life brings. This belief heavily influences how we approach our training. From those seeking to just be better, to those that seek to be their best, ETF offers solutions to those who are ready to get after it. There is an overabundance of fitness-related content available at the tap of a finger, and to say it can be overwhelming would be an understatement. ETF wants to lead you on your fitness journey, and have you know that you’re on the right track.

Here are ETF’s five key principles for success, in which we do not waiver or compromise.

1. Performance First. ETF does not embrace any single fitness attribute or quality such as strength, speed, power, size, endurance, mobility, or skill, but rather embraces all em them to be as best prepared and capable as possible for whatever life throws at you. From enjoying a healthier body with your family to ramping up for your sport season, or preparing for a true fight for your life… ETF wants to be a resource to provide fitness and training solutions to the Citizens, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders, and Military personnel that make this country so incredible. But ETF is not only interested in external performance, but the internal as well. We prioritize the importance of a strong mind and a healthy body. Physical performance is great, but not at a cost to damaging health and longevity.

2. Accountability. Like most programs or training methods, you’ll get out what you put into it. Be ready to assess your own decisions and actions, before throwing in the towel and blaming this, that, or others for lack of results.

3. Consistency. There is no magic method to program to give you everything you want, and especially not overnight. Consistently putting in the appropriate work for your goals is essential to the process, so enjoy the journey.

4. Meaningful Work. On the note of putting in the appropriate work, note this doesn’t equate to every session being an absolute smoke fest. There are times to give it everything you’ve got, as well as times to pull back. Some people need to work harder during a session, while some need to dial it back. Regardless of which side of the aisle you’re on, it is crucial the appropriate work is being put in.

5. Proven Methods. ETF is not on a bandwagon of gimmicks, promising the holy grail of training through subjective methods and strange implements. We will not preach that anyone training or implement will make or break your training. ETF believes there are many ways of achieving different goals, and becomes a matter of selecting the most useful ones to get you there.

YOUR COACH

ELI

IMG_3810.JPG

I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Tactical Conditioning Specialist,  passionate about helping motivated individuals, who want to be at their best. Fitness was an integral part of my life growing up. I was taught the value of physical strength and keeping my body healthy. It was in high school that I first learned the importance of training hard with a well formulated plan. I was given one by my coaches, and that plan, matched with consistent hard work, brought us to the IL State Championships. After high school I began my entrance in the military, which became my new coach. My physical preparedness helped me stand out amongst my peers, and kept my mind and body resilient through all kinds of demands and punishment. It is great to essentially have grown up fit. Though the most enlightening experience for me, was after leaving the military, and sustaining injuries that kept me from diligently training for nearly a year. When I was ready to return, I was back to square one. I was de conditioned and starting from the beginning, with a new set of injuries to work around. So, I went back to learn. After years of trial, error, and countless hours researching and sifting through the sea of fitness related nonsense that plagues this country, I finally learned how to be my own coach. I was excited about learning how to reach my goals, but infuriated at the misinformation that honest, motivated, hard working people are exposed to. So much in fact, that I continued my education, to coach motivated individuals myself. Now my mission is to use my knowledge to help others reach their fitness goals, with time tested, no non-sense approaches that really work, to help get people exactly where they want to be.
